The School
Interartes has existed for two decades.
It is a widely recognized school, having won awards and trained musicians who have become renowned professionals. Many of these former students are now teachers at Interartes.
Our facilities are modern and well-equipped, capable of teaching music and the arts.
We are focused on contemporary teaching, which seeks to bridge the gap between diverse cultures, styles and musical skills.

The concept
Interartes was founded in 2005 by Jorge Lee. The school offers music classes supported by computer and audio technologies in all areas. Its mission is to teach art based on the idea that the relationship between the arts leads to their growth and development, because, just like artistic creation, each student is unique and should be guided in the most effective way towards their development. This is the main point of our pedagogical program.
Energy
All of our teachers are passionate about music. It is a passion that shines through in every class and workshop, bringing positive energy and excitement to every moment. Our students create a vibrant and creative atmosphere. We want to create music and art, but also friendship, a spirit of mutual help, companionship and respect.
Atmosphere
Interartes is located in the center of Cascais, in an accessible location surrounded by green areas and close to the sea. With good accessibility, it is possible to reach the school by public transport (Cascais CP station a 10-minute walk away), by car, or by bicycle, using our bike park to park. Our classes are held in 11 soundproof, air-conditioned rooms equipped with excellent sound systems and instruments. The climate at our school is energetic, positive and welcoming. The school also has a mini auditorium that allows auditions and small events to be held.

Facilities
Interartes has 11 rooms equipped with quality instruments, comfortable and prepared for teaching music. We also have a multi-use room where we hold presentations and auditions for students.

Studio and Rehearsal Rooms
Our studio, which is part of the school’s facilities, has soundproofed rooms, with acoustic treatment and the capacity for multitrack recording in several rooms simultaneously. We also offer the option of recording in 4K video with multiple cameras, image stabilizers, all supported by professional lighting. The rooms in our space are available for rehearsals. The person in charge of the studio, Miguel Marques, is our resident technician.
