Interartes has classes on (almost) all instruments for all ages. Classes are available in individual or class formats, and can be included in a free plan or as part of an annual course/lesson plan. Contact us for more information and to schedule a trial class! Meet our teachers using this link.
In addition to practical classes, theoretical subjects are also available:
The world of sounds is also available to babies! Music, games, experiments with musical instruments, movement and many other activities, in classes led by teachers Rita Onofre and Sara Magid.
Audio and Music Production classes take advantage of Interartes’ excellent facilities, which include a recording studio. They are organised into courses and modules or in weekly individual lessons. Students have the opportunity to learn how to record a band and create and produce their own music. We use the main operating systems and a variety of software, including Cubase, Nuendo, Logic Pro, Studio One, Pro Tools, Ableton Live and Reaper.
The Audio course modules are organized as follows:
Our choir meets on Tuesdays at 7:00 pm. Led by teacher Juliana Branco, the choir develops a varied repertoire, interpreting themes from pop, jazz, gospel and classical music.
The choir performs regularly in concert, both solo and accompanying the school's student bands.
Street Beats is our urban percussion discipline, which uses everyday objects to make music. The class is guided by professor Miguel Marques. "Training" takes place on Saturday mornings.
Interartes may be available at your home in person or digitally - online. Online classes use the most common platforms, such as Skype or Zoom. These modalities are more flexible and may be an advantage for some students. Home classes are available throughout the Municipality of Cascais.
